No. There are other local companies who will allow your family and friends to be part of the day-of ash scattering, but we do not. Your VIP Concierge will handle everything from beginning to end.
Once ashes are received, Vale & Sky completes the scattering within up to six months, allowing for weather, permitting, and safe travel planning.
Yes. Clients sign a contract granting Vale & Sky the legal authority to carry out ash scattering according to documented wishes.
Your legally executed agreement is designed to protect your wishes. We strongly recommend sharing documentation with your executor, attorney, and next of kin in advance.
No. Only a portion is required. We will send you a biodegradable, TSA-approved container that will only fit a portion of the ashes.

Yes. As long as the location can be legally accessed and permitted, Vale & Sky will conduct the necessary research and approvals to make it possible.
No — which is why Vale & Sky exists. Laws vary widely by country, state, park system, and waterway. We only scatter ashes where it is legally permitted and responsibly handled.
No changes can be made without prior authorization defined in the contract.
Ashes are treated with the highest level of care:
- Carried personally by a Vale & Sky Concierge
- Never checked or separated during travel
- Stored in a secure, TSA-approved container
- Tracked discreetly for added peace of mind

Pricing starts at $20,000, depending on location and travel requirements. Final pricing is determined at the time of contract and does not increase over time. Our pricing structure is extremely simple. There are 3 pricing levels: 1-Within the Continental U.S., 2-Outside of the U.S., and 3-Extensive Travel.
No. All core services, travel, permitting, and documentation are included unless optional add-ons are selected.
And prices do not change, for up to 30 years.
Escrow ensures:
- Your funds are protected until services are rendered
- Vale & Sky cannot access funds prematurely
- Costs remain fixed regardless of inflation or time elapsed
